The Cost of Launching a Hardware Startup Has Decreased

Due to rapid prototyping and cheaper high-powered computers, getting a product ready for market is lower-cost than ever, says Jeremy Conrad (Lemnos Labs). He asserts that though one still must figure out how to sell a product, the overall cost of beginning a hardware startup (like building a new robotic drone for example), is falling. Yet venture capitalists are not so optimistic with hardware.
