Automated Miners Summon New Era of Mining

Mine-owning Brazilian company near a nickel-rich Canadian town has spent nearly $50 million in two years to install and test the "rail-veyor", believing that they will bring a new era of mining. This rail-veyor, an automated train built on tracks that zig-zag down to the deposit, takes away the need for expensive shafts and may eventually carry people and equipment together with ore.
