U.S. Robot Boat Test-Fires Missiles

The U.S. Navy launched six missiles during recent testing from an unmanned surface boat that is called the unmanned surface vessel precision engagement module. The 36-foot robot boat carries both missiles and a machine gun that can overpower small boats that might threaten bigger Navy warships. Free of human sailors, this robot boat is a life-saver if it encounters a floating suicide bomb.
